Richard is an experienced international education consultant, leadership and digital learning coach. He is an Associate Schools Inspector in the UAE and in the European Schools system. He holds a number of education and legal qualifications in English, Geography, Education Leadership, Digital Learning and Coaching. Richard is also an expert in Digital Education and advises a number of ETBs and schools in Ireland on Digital Transformation and the potential of AI tools to support learning.
Richard has taught in Ireland and in the European School system. When he was Director of the largest European Schools in Brussels, he established the European Schools’ Distance Learning Centre. During his time as a national inspector in Ireland, Richard was responsible for the creation of the Centre for School Leadership. As a former national inspector for school leadership and digital learning in Ireland, and as an Associate Inspector and advisor in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, he has led over 200 school inspections and Distance Learning evaluations.
